School violence: Diagnostic and prevenction

School violence exists to the extent that violence exists in society as a whole. It arises from the convergence of a series of personal and psychosocial variables that trigger and sustain it. In this review paper, we examine the possible causes that give rise to it and propose a prevention and intervention program that addresses not only the school environment but also the immediate social context from which it derives.
