RESUMEN

La adolescencia es un período único de rápido crecimiento y desarrollo, que incluye las esferas físicas, emocional, cognitiva y social, a través de la cual se pasa de la infancia a la adultez. Esta comienza con los cambios de la pubertad y termina cuando emerge un adulto joven autónomo que puede funcionar a nivel intelectual, sexual y tener vocaciones aceptables para la sociedad. La evidencia es que en el mundo el inicio de la actividad sexual es a partir de los 12 años, no en todos los adolescentes, pero sí un porcentaje importante, pues muchos otros lo posponen por la afiliación a valores o por decisión propia. En los últimos años se ha puesto de manifiesto que entre los adolescentes con experiencia sexual está emergiendo un contingente que se muestra desengañado, insatisfecho o turbado en lo que atañe a su vida sexual.

ABSTRACT

The adolescence is a unique period of fast growth and development, that includes the physical spheres, emotional, cognitiva and social, through which it goes of the childhood to the adultez. This begins with the changes of the puberty and finishes when an independent young adult emerges who can work at intellectual, sexual level and have acceptable vocations for the society. The evidence is that in the world the beginning of the sexual activity is as of the 12 years, not in all the adolescents, but an important
percentage, because many others pospone it by the affiliation to values or own decision. In the last years it has been shown that between the adolescents with sexual experience is emerging a contingent that is disillusioned, insatisfecho or disturbed with respect to its sexual life.
