Abstract

RESUMEN

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo acerca del comportamiento del intento suicida en los adolescentes, en el municipio de Rodas en la etapa comprendida entre enero del 2000 a julio del 2006. En este estudio se analizó la incidencia del intento suicida en adolescentes que aunque no muestre un porciento significativo constituye un problema de salud en nuestra comunidad, teniendo
que extremar las medidas de control en los grupos más vulnerables. Se concluyó que el sexo femenino es el más representativo y la ingestión de psicofármacos es el método más empleado en los intentos, correspondiéndose el año 2003 como el de mayor número de casos de intentos suicidas en adolescentes

ABSTRACT

A retrospective descriptive study was made about the be havior on the suicidal attempt in the adolescents, in the municipality of Rodas in the stage between January of the 2000 to July of the 2006. In this study the incidence on the suicidal attempt in adolescents was analyzed that althoughdoes not show a significant percent constitutes a problem of health in our community, having had to carry far the measures of control in the most vulnerable groups. Year 2003 concluded that feminine sex is most representative and the ingestion of psicopharms is the method more using in the attempts, corresponding as the one of greater number of suicidal cases on attempts in adolescents.
