Perfil epidemiológico de las tentativas de suicidio en adolescentes : estudio retrospectivo en el Hospital Universitario Mohammed VI en Marrakesh (2021-2025)

RESUMEN
Objetivo. Determinar el perfil epidemiológico, clínico y evolutivo de los intentos de suicidio en adolescentes atendidos en el servicio de psiquiatría infantil del Hospital Universitario Mohammed VI de Marrakech. Materiales y métodos. Estudio retrospectivo monocéntrico realizado con 131 adolescentes de entre 10 y 17 años, hospitalizados o en seguimiento por intento de suicidio entre enero de 2021 y diciembre de 2025. Los datos se recopilaron a partir de los historiales médicos y se analizaron con el programa SPSS, versión 27. Resultados. La edad media fue de 14,71 ± 1,38 años, con un claro predominio femenino (82,4 %). Los métodos más utilizados fueron la intoxicación medicamentosa (40,5 %) y los métodos violentos (53,4 %). El principal factor desencadenante fue un conflicto familiar (63,4 %). Se observara depresion cronica en aproximadamente el 40% de los casos. El tratamiento fue ambulatorio intensivo en el 61,8 % de los casos, con una evolución favorable en la mayoría de los pacientes. Conclusión. Los intentos de suicidio entre los adolescentes de Marrakech se inscriben en un contexto de vulnerabilidad multifactorial en el que predominan los trastornos depresivos y la disfunción familiar. Es necesario reforzar la prevención y la coordinación de la atención sanitaria.
